		<description><![CDATA[It&#8217;s been almost a year, and no posts. Have I nothing to say, or simply no time to say it? This would have been a great year to post as I&#8217;ve run both a half and full marathon. <blockquote><p><span style="font-family:arial, sans-serif;line-height:normal;font-size:12px;color:#333333;"><strong>How To Make It:</strong></span></p>
<p>8 ounces whole-wheat linguine<br />
4 chicken breasts (each about 5 ounces)<br />
Salt and pepper to taste<br />
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped<br />
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped<br />
3 cups or one package baby spinach<br />
1 teaspoon fresh basil, finely chopped<br />
2 tablespoons olive oil<br />
11/2 cups Bertolli Organic Olive Oil, Basil, and Garlic sauce*<br />
1 tablespoon fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped<br />
1/2 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano, grated</p></blockquote>
<p>Cook pasta according to package directions. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme. Preheat a nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Brown chicken on both sides and cook until done (about seven minutes each side). Remove from pan. In skillet, saute garlic, spinach, and basil with olive oil over high heat. Drain pasta and add it to the skillet, remove from heat, and combine with spinach mixture. Place pasta in serving dish, top with heated tomato sauce and sliced chicken breasts. Garnish with parsley and Parmigiano-Reggiano. Serves four.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The winter running season seems to be tardy this year. On Saturday I ran in shorts and a long sleeve-t with a short sleve-t over it. It was a balmy 46 degrees when I left home, and seemed to get warmer as I went. It was just a short 6.5, but it got me thinking: At what temperature do I normally break out the tights or pants?</p>
<p>I decided that if you leave the house and any combination of these conditions are met, you should wear something on your legs [and probably a jacket].</p>
<ol>
<li>It&#8217;s 38 degrees or colder.</li>
<li>It&#8217;s dark out.</li>
<li>It&#8217;s exceptionally windy.</li>
<li>It&#8217;s snowing.</li>
</ol>
<p>I realize this isn&#8217;t a scientific calculation, but hey, i&#8217;m new to this blog thing. These post will get better!</p>
